As well as having an international airport in its vicinity, Blackpool also has great transport links to the rest of Lancashire and the North West.

Blackpool Airport covers both international and domestic flights, whilst the M55 motorway connects it with the rest of the national motorway network. Manchester and Liverpool are both around an hour and a half away, whilst the likes of Preston, Blackburn, Burnley and Bolton are much closer.

The town is also home to the only surviving first-generation tramway in the UK. And whilst it’s a great tourist attraction it also carries around 6,500,000 passengers every year and runs for 11 miles from Star Gate in Blackpool to Fleetwood.
