Bury is a characterful old market town and miltown situated in Greater Manchester, just to the north of Manchester city centre. It offers all the benefits of the big city, but combines them with the ease and convenience of living in a large town. Bury is served by excellent transport links. The town has easy access to three motorways – the M60 Manchester Ring Motorway provides easy access throughout Greater Manchester, the M62 connects Bury to Leeds and the rest of Yorkshire, whilst the M66 links to the north of England.
Bury is also the final stop on the original line of Greater Manchester’s Metrolink Tram network, putting the city centre a 20 minute tram ride away, whilst also offering access to Salford Quays and the Trafford Centre for shopping. Manchester provides excellent rail connections, including a fast service to London. Manchester Airport is a major UK airport, and can be reached in as little as 30 minutes by car and also via the Metrolink Tram.
