The M6 motorway is just 13 miles from Fylde, whilst the M61 is 18 miles away. The borough is therefore well connected to the rest of Lancashire and the North West.
Manchester is just over an hour away, whilst Bolton is around a 50-minute drive, Preston 20 minutes away and Blackburn 40 minutes in the car. Blackpool Airport is just outside the borough of Fylde, offering both international and domestic flights.
