Mellor is a well-connected village with quick links to local urban areas – Stockport is a little over 20 minutes away by car, and Manchester only 30 to 45 minutes away. Local bus services provide routes to surrounding areas, including Stockport, Hazel Grove, Marple, and New Mills. Nearby Strines and Marple Bridge railway stations provide direct access to Manchester Piccadilly station and Sheffield station. Manchester Airport is a short drive away and offers domestic and international flights.
