Thornton is a small village in Lancashire located in the Borough of Wyre. It is about four miles north of Blackpool and two miles south of Fleetwood. Thornton joined with the town of Cleveleys to form a conurbation in 1927, today known as Thornton-Cleveleys. It has a population of around 30,000 people and is fast becoming a very popular place to live.
