Families with school age children will be pleased to know that there are 14 schools rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in and around the town. They include St. Oswald’s Catholic Primary School, Evelyn Street Primary Academy, St. Stephen’s Catholic Primary School and Green Lane Community Special School. The University of Chester has a campus in Warrington, whilst the many universities in Manchester and Liverpool are just a short journey away.
