Wain Homes Agrees Partnership to Deliver 72 New Homes at The Paddocks, Preston

Wain Homes has agreed a forward-funded partnership with Build-to-Rent (BTR) specialist Placefirst to deliver 72 new homes at The Paddocks development in Preston.

The homes will form part of Phase 3 of The Paddocks, a growing community in Higher Bartle that will deliver 429 homes when complete. Located just four miles from Preston city centre, the development continues to meet strong demand for high-quality new homes in the area.

The partnership will support the delivery of 72 two and three-bedroom homes, broadening housing choice within the development and helping to meet local housing demand.

All homes will be built to a high specification and designed with sustainability in mind. The properties will be heated by air source heat pumps and achieve an EPC B rating, providing residents with energy-efficient homes that are comfortable to live in throughout the year.

The new homes are scheduled to be completed in phases between January 2027 and January 2028.

The development is also situated close to Royal Preston Hospital, one of the region’s largest employers, making it well positioned to support local housing needs.
