First Look Inside Cornwall-Inspired Show Home in Truro

A new show home inspired by Cornwall’s countryside and creative character has opened at our Trevow Heights development of new homes in Truro.

The Alder show home takes inspiration from Trevow Heights’ panoramic surroundings, combining soft greens, blues and terracotta tones to create a bright and welcoming feel throughout. Natural wood and rattan finishes reference Cornwall’s rural landscape, while playful styling reflects Truro’s artistic identity.

Charlotte Darby from Show Business Interiors, said: “The Alder has been designed to support modern living, with zoning techniques to create spaces that feel both practical and connected. In the family dining area, a soft green paint detail creates a dedicated workspace, ideal for hybrid working, while the living room uses bold terracotta panelling and textured wallpaper to create a warm and expressive focal point inspired by a passion for art. 

“Colour plays an important role throughout the home, flowing naturally from room to room. In the main bedroom, a bespoke waved headboard creates a striking feature, layered with rich velvet fabrics, statement lighting and textured accessories to bring personality and warmth to the space.”

We are building 274 thoughtfully designed, energy-efficient two, three and four-bedroom homes at Trevow Heights, all featuring Wain Homes’ all-inclusive specification, which sees homes come with flooring throughout, integrated appliances, fitted wardrobes, a choice of kitchen finishes, and much more as standard.

The development has been designed as two distinct neighbourhoods, separated by a natural valley setting.
