North West Colleagues Rally Round for Chorley Homeless Charity

When our North West team decided to support the Chorley Help the Homeless charity, their efforts had record-breaking results.
The team collected the largest donation of food and toiletries the charity received in the run up to Christmas, with items worth more than £700 given to help people experiencing homelessness or struggling financially.

Chorley Help the Homeless is a small, independent local charity working to support those at risk of, or affected by being homeless in the Borough of Chorley, Lancashire. It also acts as an advocate to ensure people receive the support they need and to be a catalyst for positive change.
Gavin Clayton of Chorley Help the Homeless, said: “Thank you to Wain Homes for their incredible efforts, resulting in our biggest donation by far in the lead up to Christmas.

“Wain’s donations went into our foodbank and pantry storage, enabling us to make emergency food parcels to help people in our community.”
Wendy Dolan, Wain Homes’ North West Sales Office Manager, who helped organised the collection, added: “Once again, when faced with a challenge, our team rolled up their sleeves and more than delivered. Thank you to everyone in our North West office who helped us put together a donation that will make a positive difference to many people’s lives.

“Chorley Help the Homeless was our Christmas charity of the year, as they have helped many thousands of individuals and families over the years, working tirelessly to make a real difference in their community. It was both humbling and heartwarming to have played a part in supporting them.”
