Wain Unveils Sustainable Shropshire Show Homes

Visitors to our Talbot Manor development of new homes in Whitchurch, Shropshire can now enjoy viewing two stunning eco-friendly show homes.

We have opened the doors to our three-bedroom Brancaster and four-bedroom Haversham homes, each featuring sustainable interior design.

Both properties feature a range of fixtures, fittings and furnishings sourced locally from Whitchurch town centre, including kitchen and decorative products from Landfill Angels; artisan cushions, vases and candles from Home Folk; glass storage jars from Refill Your Boots; furnishings from Moo & Boom and a range of recycled products from Wild Moss in Malpas and Alderford Lake.

Sharon Wood, sales director for Wain Homes North West, said: “Talbot Manor is our first development of new homes in Whitchurch and we wanted to create something extraordinary to celebrate.

“A tour around the show homes is like a lesson in sustainability. All the eco-friendly items are tagged, highlighting the local suppliers and explaining how each item is environmentally friendly, so we hope our visitors will be inspired to shop locally and responsibly when they can see what’s on offer.”

Attention to detail is what sets this development apart. Pieces of glassware are recycled, many kitchen items are pre-loved, the wood furniture is FSG certified, cotton and fabric comes from sustainable sources. Even the rugs are biodegradable and recyclable.

We are building 90 new two, three and four-bedroom homes at Talbot Manor with no fewer than 20 different house styles.

As well as eco-friendly furnishings, the two show homes also feature the very latest styles and interior design colour schemes set to inspire every visitor.

The Whitchurch Herald newspaper editor was also impressed with our new homes, featuring their launch in the news.
