Frome town centre is home to the oldest running outdoor market in Europe, where you’ll find a variety of traders selling fruit and veg, antiques, jewellery and more. The town also boasts one of the highest percentages of independent retailers in the UK, with more than 1,000 independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Culture is also big in Frome, with annual festivals including Frome Festival, Frome Carnival and Christmas in Frome. Frome is blessed with fantastic transport links. Frome station is on the main train route from London to the South West. You can hop on the train to Bath and be in the city in just over half an hour, whilst Bristol is around an hour and a half away. London Paddington is just over 90 minutes away too. Bristol Airport is also less than an hour’s drive from Frome.
