Lighthouse Spreads Message of Support to our North West Team
Our North West team were proud to welcome representatives of the construction industry charity Lighthouse as part of its #MakeItVisible’ UK tour.
Lighthouse is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families. A crucial element of its strategy is to provide a wide range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry.
Approximately 30 colleagues from our North West headquarters attended the event to hear Ray, Rob and Sam from Lighthouse deliver a ‘Toolbox Talk’ about the charity and what they do to help others.
Rob and Ray then shared their first-hand life experiences and how the Lighthouse Charity helped them. Hearing their story was very emotional.
As part of the tour, Lighthouse also provides a ‘Safe Space’ around its #MakeItVisible tour van as a chance for construction workers to engage with their team on a one-to-one basis and ask any questions they might have.
