A planning application for the development of 46 new family homes in the historic grounds of Bordesley Hall has been approved in rural Bromsgrove, near Alvechurch and Rowney Green.
The development, on vacant brownfield land, will provide exceptional quality homes from the Wain Homes range, with bespoke elevations befitting the environment of the historic building. Enclosed within a mature woodland setting, the development will be a flagship scheme for the new Wain Homes West Midlands region.
A mix of dwellings will be provided, from two bedroom homes for first time buyers, up to larger family properties, including six bedroom dwellings.
Wain Homes West Midlands managing director, Andy Peters, said: “We are delighted that our detailed proposals for Bordesley Manor have been approved.
“The site is a unique opportunity to create something truly special and the team has delivered a vision for the site within the historic surroundings of Bordesley Hall enclosed by mature trees.
“The regeneration of the site is a continuation of our success as a region, following planning approvals last year in Solihull at The Green and the launch of our first development at Shropshire Heights.”
The development of the site will also enable the restoration of the historic Bordesley Hall, which has planning consent for conversion into luxury apartments.
