Mum’s the Word When It Comes to Home Buying

Everyone at Wain Homes believes we build beautiful houses that become forever homes – and what better proof than selling to your own family.
Sons of three of our Sales Executives in the North West have each bought homes on our developments in the region and their mums could not be happier.
Wain Homes regional Sales Director Andrew Blundell, said: “It is such a lovely endorsement when Wain employees recommend our properties to their own family and we are delighted that all three boys are now enjoying their Wain home.”
Kim Lloyd works across a number of Wain developments including Heathfields in Lowton where son Jack, 21, has bought a two-bedroom property through an Equity Loan Scheme.
Kim who has worked with Wain for five years, said: “I am just so proud of him. He had been living with me in Chester but works in Warrington and wanted to be closer to his friends and have his own space.
“I knew the Equity Loan Scheme would work for him and The Bell would be a perfect property.
“All the Wain Homes Sales Executives have been amazing with him and I cannot thank them enough for their kind professionalism. Jack has enjoyed picking all the colours and putting his mark on the house. It’s a massive thing for him and he has been telling everyone at work and they are supportive too.
“He is young to be buying his first home but he has worked hard and saved hard to make it happen. I am glad he has bought a Wain home; I am very proud of what I sell.”
Michael Taylor, 33, now lives in a four-bedroom property at Amblers Meadow at Leigh – much to the delight of mum Karen. Karen has worked with Wain Homes for six years so knew The Shakespeare would be the perfect property and Amblers Meadow the ideal location for Michael, his wife Kirsty and their young children Josh and Freya.
She said: “This is their second property and they had a wish list of things they wanted including a utility and a kitchen with an island unit and a bay window. Because I work with the company I knew which house types fitted the bill and I just tried to steer them in the right direction!
“They got good financial advice and used one of our panel solicitors and the whole process has been really smooth.”
Caroline Lenahan’s son Joshua, 30, used the Shared Equity option to purchase a three-bedroom mews house at Cat I’ th’ Window at Standish as the perfect home for his young family.
Caroline, who has been with Wain Homes for seven years said: “The shared equity scheme is designed to help people own their own home and enabled them to get on the property ladder and put down roots.
“The joy of working for Wain Homes is that we build lots of different types of properties from two-bedroom starter homes to large five bedroom houses so there is something to suit everyone. My favourite part of the job is matching people with the right property and it was great to be able to help Josh find his!”
