Trevithick Ticks Boxes for First Time Buyers

First time buyers, Abbie and Scott, wanted their first home to have the versatility to evolve and adapt to their future plans and once they viewed Wain Homes’ Trevithick housetype, they knew instantly it was the home for them.

Deciding on Whitchurch in Shropshire to base their property hunt, Talbot Manor was the first, and only, new build development they viewed.

Abbie explains: “We fell in love with Talbot Manor as soon as we drove into the development entrance.

“It was obvious great care had gone into the landscaping and the different levels of the streets and the range of housetypes across the site give it character and style; so we knew if we could find a house design that met all our needs, this would be where we would buy.

“We then looked at the floor plans for the three-bedroom Trevithick and it ticked all the boxes. Although there wasn’t a Trevithick show home at Talbot Manor, we were able to view the home at a Wain Homes development in Wigan and it was perfect.

“We love the spaciousness of the house and since moving in we’ve had so many comments on the great layout, amount of storage and how much space there is. We couldn’t believe we could get all this space for the price so it was a simple decision to reserve this home at Talbot Manor.”

Both 23, Abbie and Scott have been in their new home six months and have enjoyed the process of personalising their first home.

Abbie said: “Buying your first home is such an exciting journey and the help and advice we got from Wain Homes’ sales consultant, Kim, made us feel supported and in the loop the whole time.

“We used Wain Homes’ recommended solicitors and mortgage advisers, both of whom were efficient and professional and kept up updated without any hiccups.

“Having a blank canvas, we have enjoyed choosing furniture to work with the design of the house and to complement the colours of our fixtures and fittings. It has been fun putting our individual stamp on the property.

Abbie and Scott also gave special praise to Wain Homes’ site manager, Dave, who has ensured the dream move went without a hitch.

Scott said: “Dave’s been so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need, and more.

“He responds immediately to anything we ask and it’s no surprise that so many other customers have mentioned him positively in their reviews, he really knows how to look after his customers.”

Settled happily in Talbot Manor, the town of Whitchurch is also living up to expectations for the couple.

Abbie explains: “We are situated just a couple of minutes from the golf course, which suits Scott perfectly and it is close enough to all the shops and leisure in the town centre and I can’t wait for the new gym to open.

“It also feels really safe, so it is great for an early morning run and there’s a nice vibe about the town, everyone seems friendly and welcoming.”

Do the couple still feel they chose the right property at Talbot Manor?

“Absolutely!” says Abbie. “The Trevithick is a longevity home for us. Because of the space, we won’t need to move again for many years as there is the flexibility for the home to adapt as our lives develop. It is the ideal new home for a growing family too, and the space and large garden you get for the price is great value. We definitely feel we made the right choice.”
