We are delighted to reveal three of our construction team colleagues have been recognised in a national competition for quality, each winning a top housing industry award.
Site managers David Scott, from our Mulgrove Farm Village development in Bristol, Ken Bruney from Kingsley Manor in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire and Martin Lally from Lawton Green in Alsager, Cheshire, are celebrating winning a Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.
Running for 43 years, the accolade which is awarded by the UK’s leading new homes warranty and insurance provider, is the most highly regarded in the house-building industry and a prestigious benchmark for exceptional site managers. With only 443 winners selected out of over 8,000 entrants across the UK, the recipients are among the country’s best house builders.
Commenting on the hat trick of awards, Peter Barlow, Wain Homes’ CEO, said: “These awards are recognition of the fantastic work being undertaken by our teams at these developments and show the care, dedication and attention to detail of these talented site managers.
David, Ken and Martin should be incredibly proud of their efforts and I know our customers will be delighted their homes are being built by such skilled and conscientious teams.”
Steve Wood, CEO at NHBC added: “This accolade recognises the best site managers across the UK and celebrates how much David, Ken and Martin have inspired their teams by going the extra mile to deliver homes of the highest quality.”
All three will now go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners unveiled in January 2024.
Good luck to you all!
