Whilst it's now a leafy suburb of Greater Manchester, Middleton has retained much of its traditional charm. The town’s historic centre, called the ‘Golden Cluster’, features a wealth of period and blue plaque buildings, including St. Leonard's Church and the Old Boar's Head Inn, a pub over 500 years old.

Although steeped in history, Middleton is a thoroughly modern town, boasting first-rate amenities. Middleton Shopping Centre offers a wealth of shops, plus you’ll find a wide selection of excellent cafes and restaurants. Middleton Arena is a modern, £13 million sports and leisure centre with an extensive gym, swimming pools, indoor courts, and a 500 seat auditorium that regularly hosts concerts and performances.
