Marketing Coordinator (12-Month Maternity Cover)

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our Severn Valley team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

This is a busy and varied role requiring a confident, proactive and highly organised individual who will play a key part in supporting the regional Sales and Marketing function throughout the maternity cover period.

Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with the Group Marketing team, Sales Managers and wider regional teams, you will coordinate and deliver a broad range of marketing activities across digital, print, PR and on-site channels. Your work will help ensure brand consistency, accurate content, strong lead generation and high-quality customer engagement across all developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with marketing experience, ideally within the housebuilding or property sector, who thrives on variety, enjoys working collaboratively and can confidently manage multiple priorities. You will be joining an established team and taking responsibility for a varied workload, making this an excellent opportunity to gain broad marketing experience within a successful housebuilder.

Key Responsibilities

Daily / Weekly

• Ensure all website, development and third-party portal content is accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate regional paid media activity with Group Marketing, creating engaging content, approving artwork and acting as the regional marketing lead for campaign delivery.
• Monitor website, portal and campaign performance, identifying opportunities to improve lead generation and conversion.
• Brief, coordinate and liaise with external marketing agencies and suppliers.
• Support the delivery of regional social media activity, including content planning, content gathering and campaign support.
• Create and coordinate marketing content across digital, print and PR channels, including website copy, development updates, customer stories and email communications.
• Ensure GDPR compliance is maintained across all marketing activities.
• Maintain brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and marketing channels.
• Support Sales Managers with marketing best practice, campaign activity and development launches.
• Attend regular development visits to gather content, monitor marketing standards and support campaign planning.

Monthly

• Lead regional PR activity, delivering a minimum of one PR opportunity per month in line with the Strategic Marketing Plan, with a focus on community engagement, sponsorships, charity initiatives and local media coverage.
• Coordinate regional social media and content plans in collaboration with Group Marketing.
• Contribute to the Wellbeing Committee, managing associated communications and promotional activity.
• Organise and promote the region’s Helping Hands community initiatives.
• Attend Group and regional Marketing meetings and record actions and updates where required.
• Collate and submit information for the Monthly Board Report.
• Produce a monthly marketing performance report for the Sales Director, including campaign performance, lead generation, budget tracking and ROI analysis.
• Maintain competitor intelligence and market awareness across the region.

Quarterly

• Work with the Sales Director, Group Marketing and Sales Managers to develop and deliver a rolling three-month Regional Marketing Plan.
• Review campaign performance and recommend future activity based on lead generation, sales performance and market conditions.
• Coordinate and produce the quarterly regional newsletter.

Ad Hoc / Ongoing

• Coordinate the production of CGIs, floorplans, brochures, website content, Matterport tours, photography, videography and other marketing materials.
• Manage the regional image and digital asset library.
• Coordinate CRM, email and SMS marketing activity to generate, nurture and convert sales leads.
• Support development launches, show home openings, customer events and community engagement activities.
• Coordinate development naming approvals, signage design requirements and launch marketing materials.
• Manage relationships with external marketing suppliers including photographers, CGI providers, printers, signage companies and media agencies.
• Maintain records of directional signage and marketing assets across developments.
• Manage stock levels of marketing collateral, flags, signage and branded materials.
• Gather customer testimonials, homeowner stories and case studies to support marketing and PR activity.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous experience within a marketing role.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Good understanding of digital marketing, social media and content creation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.

Desirable

• Experience within housebuilding, property, construction or a related sector.
• Experience using CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and marketing reporting tools.
• Experience briefing and managing external agencies.
• Understanding of paid media, SEO and social media platforms.
• Experience coordinating events and PR activity.
